The PlayStation Plus March Essential games are now available to download. As per usual, the Essential offerings include three games, but there is the added bonus of a free expansion for Destiny 2. It is a fantastic foursome of giveaways rather than the usual trio, and more additions are on the way soon as the reveal date for the PS Plus March 2024 Extra and Premium games is just a week away.
We’ve been blessed with a year of video game releases so far, and we have another fantastic month ahead of us. The March 2024 video game releases include Dragon’s Dogma 2, Alone in the Dark remake, a new South Park, and Rise of the Ronin for PS5 exclusively, and there’s even the return of the Star Wars multiplayer G.O.A.T with the Battlefront Classic Collection from Aspyr.
There’s also WWE 2K24 available right now, as well as The Outlast Trials. All of these new releases are fantastic and incredibly exciting, and Sony will be looking to consume even more of your life with the PS Plus March 2024 Extra and Premium additions.
PS Plus Extra and Premium March 2024 games reveal date
The reveal date for the PS Plus Extra and Premium March 2024 games is March 13th. Sony usually reveals the Extra and Premium games on a Wednesday one week after the release of the Essentials. The March 2024 Essentials were given away on March 5th, hence the expectation that Sony will pull the curtain aside next Wednesday.
After the games have been announced, they typically come out the Tuesday after. So, if announced on March 13th as expected, you should be able to begin playing from the 20th. In regard to the April 2024 Essentials, they are expected to be identified on March 27th.
To avoid missing out, make sure to claim the current monthly games before the expiry date of April Fool’s Day, April 1st. Hello Neighbor 2, Sifu, and EA Sports F1 23 are fantastic experiences available for all subscribers to enjoy, and The Witch Queen is a fantastic expansion for Destiny 2.

All seven games listed above will leave PS Plus Extra on March 19th. All of them are fantastic, too. Tchia we can’t recommend enough as this cute adventure game in a tropical paradise quaint open-world, and Ghostwire Tokyo is a brilliant experience from the folks responsible for The Evil Within and Hi-Fi Rush coming to PS5 soon.
Code Vein is dubbed by many as anime Dark Souls, and The Outer Wilds is an unforgettable masterpiece everyone needs to try. Civilization 6 is a great strategy game, and you should give Haven and Neo a chance, too.
In other PlayStation news, we now know the release date for when major Xbox exclusive Sea of Thieves is coming to PS5. There’s also the chance Palworld comes to PS5 in the future, too, and Larian Studios’ has whetted everyone’s appetite by teasing mod support for Baldur’s Gate 3 on PS5.
