February has been a fantastic month for PlayStation gamers. We’ve been treated to great releases such as Persona 3 Reload and Helldivers 2, and there’s still Final Fantasy 7 Rebirth to come out. In addition, the PlayStation Plus February Extra and Premium games are coming out, too, and the reveal date for the PS Plus March 2024 games reveal date is right around the corner.

You can download the Final Fantasy 7 Rebirth demo right now on PS5. Even if you don’t want early spoilers for the game, it’s definitely worth checking out so you can go all Beethoven on the addictive mini-game piano. Once February comes to an end, the upcoming games 2024 release schedule for next month includes more highly anticipated bangers such as Rise of Ronin and Dragon’s Dogma 2.

Yes, we’re truly in for a treat next month. Not only is there Rise of Ronin and Dragon’s Dogma 2, but there’s also a new South Park game plus a remake of Alone in the Dark. And, as if all these amazing new experiences weren’t enough, we’re also set to get the PS Plus March 2024 Essential games.

PS Plus March 2024 games reveal date

The PS March 2024 Essential games should be revealed on February 28th. The next batch of Essential offerings is always revealed on the final Wednesday of the current month and one week before the release date for the next Essential freebies. The PlayStation blog post for February 2024 confirms that the next Essential selection will be released on March 5th.

As for Extra and Premium, they should be announced on March 13th. Sony typically announces the Extra and Premium additions on Wednesday one week after the release of the Essentials. This can be seen in February when the Essential offerings came out on February 6th, with the upper tier additions announced on February 14th.

Before the month of chocolate eggs for Easter comes about, make sure to claim the current Essential offers while they are still available. The Essential offerings right now are the newly released Foamstars from Square Enix, along with Rollerdrome and Steelrising.

13 new PlayStation Plus games out soon

A total of 13 new games are set to join PS Plus Extra and Premium. Below is all of the additions confirmed by Sony:

  • Need for Speed Unbound – Extra
  • The Outer Worlds Spacer’s Choice Edition – Extra
  • Tales of Arise – Extra
  • Assassin’s Creed Valhalla – Extra
  • LEGO Worlds – Extra
  • LEGO Jurassic World – Extra
  • Roguebook – Extra
  • Rogue Lords – Extra
  • Tales of Zestiria – Extra
  • Resistance Retribution – Premium
  • Jet Rider 2 – Premium
  • Tales of Symphonia – Premium
  • Tales of Vesperia – Premium

All of the above games will join PlayStation Plus Extra and Premium on February 20th. The Tales games are all great, and The Outer Worlds is a magnificent RPG from Obsidian. Assassin’s Creed Valhalla is a fun life consumer, and Resistance Retribution will be a good throwback to one of PlayStation’s best franchises that hasn’t returned since 2011.

Possible PS Plus March 2024 game leaks

A possible PS Plus Premium classic leak for March 2024 is Alone In The Dark The New Nightmare. This is a PS1 game that was accidentally included by PlayStation UK and PlayStation Access when revealing the Extra and Premium additions for January. Both accounts quickly removed their original posts to no longer include Alone In The Dark, but its inclusion means it’s possible it could be joining Premium at a later date.

It isn’t joining in February as possibly speculated, so maybe it’ll join the classics library in March. This would be befitting seeing as the Alone In The Dark remake comes out this month following delays. It’s also possible it joins way later in the year possibly around October to celebrate the month of all things wicked and evil with Halloween.

In other PlayStation news, the Tomb Raider 1-3 Remastered trilogy hints at more remasters on the way. The Xbox boss has also commented on the exclusivity of Helldivers 2 on PS5.
