What Are the Color Sets in Monopoly Go?
In Monopoly Go, a Color Set is a group of two to three same-color Property Tiles.
Like the board game, Monopoly Go features color-coded avenues, referred to as Property Tiles. Each of these groups forms a unique Color Set, which players can acquire by filling with properties.
In the original board game, controlling a Color Set enables the player to raise the rent for other players. In the mobile game, however, players receive random prizes for doing so, and their dominance in one area doesn’t impact the rents.
How Do You Complete a Color Set?
You complete a Color Set by placing Hotels on Property Tiles of the same color. The game has eight Color Sets: Brown, Light Blue, Magenta, Orange, Red, Yellow, Green, and Dark Blue. When these same-colored avenues are filled with Hotels, created from five Houses each, you achieve that Color Set.
When a Set is complete, the Hotels will glow. And the next time you land on a glowing tile, you will win a prize — and also recollect the Properties to start over.
Monopoly Go spreads your Houses across the board randomly. So, you cannot target a specific Color Set.
What Do You Get for Finishing Color Sets
Each completed Color Set grants one Wheel Spin. The Wheel contains rewards ranging from free dice rolls to sticker packs and cash. Additionally, you earn one Net Worth level per Hotel collected. For example, if the Color Set has three Hotels in it, your Net Worth will go up by three levels; if it has only two Hotels, it will increase by two.
