One Punch Man: World opens for pre-registration ahead of early 2024 release

The wait is almost over, as A Plus Japan and Perfect World open pre-registration for their upcoming cross-platform, action game One Punch Man: World. Launching January 31st, players will be able to get closer to the world-famous anime and manga series than ever before.

A host of fan-favourite characters will be available to recruit and play as, including the likes of Speed-O-Sound Sonic, Puri-Puri Prisoner, Genos, and of course the titular Caped Baldy himself, Saitama. You will come across memorable villains such as Subterranean King and Mosquito Girl in your travels, so pick your favourite and get training.

No one hero is capable of taking on every valiant by themselves, otherwise why would the Hero Association exist? As such, World has an extensive online component where you can team up with other players around the globe to tackle treacherous bosses and bring those most nefarious of foes to justice.

You can even get up close and personal with the world of City Z, exploring the street, playing games at the arcade, and even taking part in one of the most iconic, humourous moments of the first anime series; going along with Saitama to one of his beloved supermarket discount sales.

At the time of writing, there have been over two million pre-registrators, unlocking quite a few rewards, consisting of 50 Intel, 140 World Silver, 3 Disclosure Piviledges and a Random SR Impression Arms. This is all well and good, but the biggest prize lies at three million subs; one SR character. So, any fans of the anime that haven’t signed up yet, act fast to smash that last goal to start your debut into hero society with a bang.

One Punch Man World is available to pre-register now from the App Store and Google Play and will be available with English, French, German, and Spanish language support.
