Fitness Boxing Hatsune Miku Game To Release in Japan Only… For Now – Gamezebo

Love exercise and anime? Well, there’s a Fitness Boxing Hatsune Miku game coming out. The full title is Fitness Boxing feat. Hatsune Miku Isshoni Exercise and it seems to only be available in Japan. The release date is set for Spring 2024, with no news of a global launch.

Fitness Boxing is an already-established game on the Nintendo Switch console that features home-based workouts. You simply use the Joy-Cons to act out the motions displayed on the screen! Sadly, the original digital version will be removed from the Nintendo eShop in the UK after the 30th of November this year. However, the release of the Hatsune Miku version may prove popular enough to bring it to the global eShop.

Hatsune Miku as Your Coach!

This isn’t the first time Fitness Boxing collaborated with a famous franchise, with a Fist of the North Star version of the exercise game releasing back in March this year. I have a sneaky suspicion that the Fitness Boxing Hatsune Miku game will be slightly more popular thanks to the Vocaloid’s loyal fanbase.

From the trailer above, beloved songs from Hatsune Miku’s catalogue will play during a workout. There looks to be an outfit system too, allowing you to swap and change Miku’s outfits – although this may depend on the selected song. Whether or not additional characters from the Piapro franchise will make an appearance, we’ll have to wait and see. I do hope they add Kagamine Rin and Kagamine Len though!

Making Exercise Fun

I’m all for combining gaming with exercise and making workouts more fun, but is this a novelty fad or will it stick? Personally, as a huge Hatsune Miku fan myself, I’m more inclined to purchase the Fitness Boxing Hatsune Miku version of the game.

It feels as if it’s got a lot more character than the original entry in the Fitness Boxing franchise, but it definitely won’t be for everyone. I just hope that it eventually launches globally! If so, it will more than likely be an eShop-only purchase, much like the Fist of the North Star version.
