The star-studded ceremony was hosted by BAFTA at Harmony Gold, located in Los Angeles.
According to a press release from Netflix, 'It follows an underrated lawyer (Saldana), who works for a large law firm more interested in getting criminals out of prison than bringing them to justice, as she is hired by the head of a criminal organization.
In the film, fans will see Selena transform into Jesse Del Monte, the wife and mother of a fierce cartel member.
Other stars of the film include Edgar Ramirez and Adriana Bass.

“These are characters that sometimes seem irredeemable; everything about them made me want to play this role and be part of this journey.”
Emilia Pérez will premiere on November 13 on Netflix.
The R-rated musical is available in English and Spanish and is directed by French screenwriter Jacques Audiard.
