XDefiant is Ubisoft’s upcoming free-to-play shooter that is said to be a “Call of Duty beater” and players will soon have another opportunity to play the game as Ubisoft has announced the latest Server Test Session, which will allow the servers to be stress tested in real-world conditions ahead of its launch. This serves as an unofficial beta to the game as it allows Ubisoft to analyze the performance and make changes and fixes before the finished product is released.

XDefiant Server Test Session – Everything You Need To Know
Ubisoft has announced the highly anticipated XDefiant Server Test Session, which will stress test the server in real-world conditions to ensure it is stable enough for the game’s full release. This will also be a great opportunity for players to try the game out ahead of its eventual launch.
As of writing, there is no official release date for XDefiant, but it is expected to launch sometime in 2024. However, a recent leak did point to a May 13th release date, which means that if it is correct then players won’t have long to wait between the Server Test Session and the full release.
When Will The XDefiant Server Test Session Take Place?
It has been announced that the XDefiant Server Test Session will begin at the following times across all platforms, PC via Ubisoft Connect, PS5, and Xbox Series X.
- Start time: Friday, April 19th – 10 AM PT / 1 PM ET / 6 PM BST
- End time: Sunday, April 21st – 10 AM PT / 1 PM ET / 6 PM BST

PC
To play the Server Test Session, just search for XDefiant – Server Test Session and download the game from the Ubisoft Store.
PlayStation
To play the Server Test Session, just search for XDefiant – Server Test Session and download the game from the PlayStation Store.
If you played an XDefiant test before and kept the game in your library, that is a different “product” just called XDefiant. Keep it as it will eventually be the final launch product.
Xbox
To play the Server Test Session, just search for XDefiant – Server Test Session and download the game from the Microsoft Store.

In addition, if you still have the Closed Beta build, this one will have a grey icon and is expired, you can delete it.
