Xbox is giving fans a chance to win an incredible custom Bluey-themed Xbox Series X console and controller. The colorful and vibrant console is Bluey herself and the controller is just themed after the popular children’s TV show. Bluey and her sister Bingo are seen flossing on the front of the controller.
To enter the giveaway, you just need to follow Xbox on Twitter and retweet the Xbox sweepstakes tweet. The contest ends on December 13th, 2023, so you should do it before then. As of writing this, there are 60,000 retweets, so it’s already taken off.
The content also mentioned that Bluey: The Videogame also came out today. The game allows players to explore iconic locations from the TV show and play some of their favorite games, such as Keepy Uppy, Magic, and Xylophone. The game also features local multiplayer so you can play with friends and family.
Here are some additional details about the giveaway:
- No purchase is necessary to enter.
- Open to legal residents of the United States, Canada, Mexico, the United Kingdom, France, Germany, Spain, Italy, Australia, New Zealand, Hong Kong, Singapore, Japan, South Korea, Taiwan, Brazil, Chile, Argentina, Colombia, and Saudi Arabia.
- Must be 18 years of age or older to enter.
- One entry per person.
- The winner will be selected at random.
With an Xbox Series X console and controller, the value of the win is about $500, so that’s a great reason to do this. There is only going to be one awarded out, so the odds are pretty against you depending on how many people enter. One out of 60k as of writing this article and it’s not even a day old. You never know though.
I think this is a way to help market the video game because I don’t think many people were aware it was coming before this tweet. I like Bluey, it’s a great show and my kids watch it often. I won’t be retweeting but I will consider buying the game if it lowers its price from $40.
I played the Peppa Pig games and they were pretty bare, so I would suspect that Bluey isn’t breaking any boundaries in terms of level design.
