Season of Discovery has been flying high since its release, and it’s now taken over by Blizzard’s annual holiday event, The Feast of Winter Veil. With the annual festive event here, players are going to want to take part in these quests, including hunting down here Metzen the Reindeer has taken off, too.
WoW Classic Season of Discovery: Where to find Metzen the Reindeer
World of Warcraft players are no strangers to holiday events, as the annual Winter Veil take over, is an event that players look forward to each year.
Within Classic WoW, players will especially want to take part in these quests, as any bit of gold will go a long way, and you’ll receive over two gold for completing this quest.
As noted, the quest entices the players to find Metzen the Reindeer, which is cleverly named after Chris Metzen, one of the iconic figureheads within the WoW community. However, you’re first going to want to accept the quest, which is done by either taking it from Kaymard Copperpinch, who is in the Valley of Strength, or via Wulmort Jinglepocket, located in Ironforge.

Once you’ve accepted this quest, you will want to head to either Searing Gorge or Tanaris, as these are the only two locations where players can find Metzen.
How to handle enemies in Searing Gorge and Tanaris
In Searing Gorge, you’ll need to get around or eliminate some Dark Iron Dwarves, and in Tanaris, you’ll need to take down some other enemies.
These mobs are going to be quite hard, especially due to the limited talents players have in Season of Discovery. But, if you find yourself struggling to get around these enemies, or taking them down, you can also employ someone nearby or one of your friends to act as bait so you can swoop in to find Metzen. Other players have noted that Rogues are particularly good at sneaking around these enemies, and taking it below on the outskirts of both locations may be in your best interest.
It may take you a few tries to get into the stable, but it shouldn’t be to complicated once you get a feel of how the enemies react to your movement.
Getting Metzen the Reindeer Back
Once you’ve found Metzen, you’re then going to need to use the Pouch of Reindeer Dust, which will automatically send Metzen back into your faction’s town, so you can complete the quest and snag the wicked rewards.
It’s a pretty simple quest, but one where you’re more than likely going to need to team up with some allies, as the mobs can be pretty challenging for most.
