A Virginia socialite accused of scheming to commit a sexual assault on an eight-year-old girl is now trying to wiggle out of the slammer.

According to the Daily Mail, Eleanor Hunton Hoppe is asking for pre-trial release from a District of Columbia detention centre. A plea deal is reportedly now off the table.

Hoppe, 45, was arrested last March by FBI agents at a motel where the alleged twisted tryst was slated to take place. She believed that a man was bringing his young daughter to be sexually abused at the motel, according to authorities.
But her legal eagles say she’s “not particularly dangerous” and should be sprung while awaiting trial. She is the mother of two and the ex-wife of a federal judge. In a previous freedom gambit, she called herself an “upstanding citizen” because, after all, she was a University of Virginia graduate.
Her lawyers say she has serious health problems, including multiple sclerosis, and needs specialized care unavailable in jail.

The pampered daughter of a Virginia legal dynasty, Hoppe’s arrest shattered the cozy confines of the state’s high society.
Hoppe was arrested when she arranged to meet a man she believed was the pedo papa of the little girl. The pair had met on a fetish website.

Hoppe allegedly sent the man three photos of minor girls being raped. The prosecution has maintained the plan was for Hoppe and the man to sexually assault the girl.
But the party ended when the man revealed he was an undercover FBI agent, according to police.
The disgraced socialite has pleaded not guilty to distribution of child pornography, coercion and enticement of a minor and attempted transportation of a minor with intent to engage in sexual activity.

Prior to the motel incident, her husband — while in a fight for sole custody of the former couple’s 10 and 12-year-old daughters — outlined Hoppe’s sexual proclivities, including using photos of her daughters.
Her hubby alleged when they split in 2020 that she “initiated sexual contact, and committed adultery” with another man and trolled online for sex with other men and women. At the time, she volunteered for child advocacy agencies.
She allegedly told the G-Man she wanted to talk about “taboo parenting.” Her handle was tori4fun and she was keen to help him introduce his fictitious daughter to sex, according to the accusations.
She allegedly wrote: “I can’t wait and then, of course, putting her to bed and waking her up to do a few extra things will be so fun. A great thing to do is wake her up by trying new things … that hazy/dreamlike state is perfect to introduce a variety of new things.
“If I were you, I’d start building up Thursday telling her that you know it’s gonna be super fun, we’re gonna hang out with an old friend of yours.
“It’s going to be the best night ever– blah, blah, blah — and then once I get there, obviously, it will take a slight turn.”
Hoppe was arrested upon arrival at the motel. She was carrying a pink children’s bag that contained lube, silk underwear and a child’s pink silk robe.
