First on Fox: A woman whose skull was crushed by an illegal immigrant has been released from prison as part of a program launched by the San Francisco District Attorney's Office. Kamala Harris Attacks the vice president with a resurgent speech in which Harris discusses the issue as a result of a “history” in the system.

“This 'mistake' has definitely had a negative impact on my life,” Amanda Keefer, who was brutally attacked by an illegal immigrant in 2008 while walking down the street with friends, said in a statement to Fox News Digital. “It would be easy to believe this was a mistake if Democrats in San Francisco didn’t have a long history of allowing illegal immigration, not prosecuting illegal immigrant criminals, and refusing to deport anyone.”

“It was no “story” that the Biden-Harris administration allowed in millions of illegal immigrants, including hundreds of thousands of known and convicted criminals and terrorists on watch lists. deliberately not caring about the safety of Americans.”

Then-San Francisco District Attorney Kamala Harris, in a resurgent speech, blamed a “glitch” in the system when discussing the attack on Kiefer.

CBS' 60 Minutes aired two different answers from Vice President Harris to the same question

Amanda Keefer was the victim of an illegal immigrant in 2008.

“But whenever you come up with something new, at some point it will become obvious that there is an error or flaw in the design, and when you are in that position, that error or flaw will be front and center. newspaper page”, Harris said During a 2010 Women in Leadership conference at UC Berkeley's Haas School of Business, she presented the “Back on Track” program that allows non-violent offenders to avoid prison and instead enter job training and eventually have their records expunged. .

“And then you have to get hit for it,” Harris said in the speech. “When I got back on track, I took a big political hit, when, a few years later, this happened, especially in criminal law, because when you're taking, when you're innovating in the criminal justice system, I mean that means I'm one of those people who are doing something to people who are on my radar because they committed crimes.”

Kiefer was brutally attacked by 20-year-old Alexander Izaguirre, an illegal immigrant, while walking with friends on a San Francisco street in 2008. Yzaguirre stole her purse and took her to a waiting SUV to try to break her skull.

Izaguirre was arrested months before the attack on drug charges, but was able to walk free thanks to a program implemented by Harris.

Harris continued the speech: “Now remember, I'm focusing on the non-violent offender with these innovative programs, right? The fear will always be that guy goes out tomorrow and kills a baby and a grandmother, and then everyone looks back and says, 'Why? You didn't do it the way it was always done, why did you try something new?' It’s a big risk and then when I got back on track a few years later, we learned that basically there was one participant, while he was on the show, committed a robbery, there was a terrible injury to the victim and it turned out that person was the only undocumented immigrant.”

In her speech, Harris referenced an article written about her at the time that said, “Kamala Harris created a program to protect illegal aliens.”

“OK?” Harris said. “And that's when my friends really helped me say that, you know, because I was fed up with injustice and bad behavior and… 'Don't people want to fix these things?' ?' And that's when you have to rely on your friends who understand what you do and care about you and support you without judgment, but also give you critical feedback when you need it.”

In 2009, Harris told the press that Izaguirre is “on trial” and “will be deported with my full encouragement and support.” Harris also said at this time Izaguirre's release was a “design flaw” that has been corrected.

Kiefer also spoke about his experience earlier this year, Fox News Digital reported. He said the experience was a “red pill moment” for him, leading him to abandon his liberal political views since then and embrace candidates like former President Trump.
