Fortnite’s first collaboration with Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles turned out to be a great success. The collab brought four skins and many other cosmetics that were obtainable from the Item Shop. Due to this, it’s no surprise that another collab is in the works by Epic Games.

Fortnite is getting another TMNT collaboration
The first TMNT collaboration was quite simple, as it only brought cosmetic items and a small gameplay feature. However, Epic Games intends to make the second collab much bigger. According to reputable Fortnite leakers, the upcoming collaboration will bring the following:
- Shredder’s skin
- New in-game location
- Event tab (mini Battle Pass)
- Weapons & Reality Augments
- Special quests
Considering that a new event will come, Shredder will likely be included in the mini Battle Pass. However, similar to previous passes, you will need to complete quests to unlock him. Furthermore, the pass will probably have a premium track that costs 1,000 V-Bucks, which was the case before. Since Shredder is very popular, there’s a good chance he will be the final reward of the premium track.
The new menu tab was just enabled and is used as the event teaser. However, all the other things will arrive with the release of the v28.20 update on Tuesday, February 6. This will be the second major update of Chapter 5 Season 1 and will bring a lot of new content. The collab will be officially released on Friday, February 9.
The next Fortnite x TMNT collaboration was also confirmed by Epic Games. While the files needed for it will come with the second major update of the season, the collab won’t be enabled by Friday.
