If you have ever dreamed of swinging big hammers around, I recommend therapy, or you can indulge your intrusive thoughts with the new Demolisher class in Blade and Soul Revolution. Netmarble is celebrating the fifth anniversary of its open-world RPG in style, with this new way to play and some in-game events.
Let’s focus on the main offering first; the Demolisher. As you may expect from pretty much every game with a Warhammer-type weapon, this hammer-wielder is slow to attack but hits like a truck when they connect. To compensate, you can inflict a Tripshot on enemies to slow them down to make sure you can properly flatten them.
In terms of survivability, the Demolisher’s defence increases the more damage they receive, which is pretty useful if the wind-up takes a while, you are going to take a beating. Finally, their Reincarnate skill can instantly cleanse any Crowd Control, just to add a little bit of mobility to this juggernaut.
If you are looking for a fresh start, then you can head to the new BSR16 server, and use Silvers to earn up to 50,000 Colorful Crystals at the Coin Ship to buy helpful items such as Ovsidian Spirit Accessory Bundles. This update also brings the Radiant Yunma Kahn Legendary Soul Shield and a new Guardian Spirit Protection system. Equip your new items, grab a friend to tackle the new PvE content in the Ranking dungeon, and earn rewards for use in this new system.
Throughout December, you can take advantage of two log-in events. The Colorful 5th Anniversary 28-Day Check-in will run until January 17th and has a bevy of rewards such as Guardian Spirit Protection Summon 10+1 and Luxurious Legendary Pet Summon. The 5th Anniversary Log In event will reward players for logging in for prolonged periods until January 5th, with a New Blacksmith’s Crafting Selection up for grabs amongst others.
Finally, put in a little effort before January 4th and you can clear the 5th Anniversary Festival Week event. Clear missions such as playing the Training Ground or taking part in Dimensional Rift, and you can net the 5th Anniversary Treasure Chest, Ancient Fragment and more.
