Guterres warns North Korea of intervention
United Nations Secretary-General Antonio Guterres has warned Russia of the possibility of using North Korean soldiers in its war in Ukraine. Guterres said he was “deeply disturbed” by reports of the incident, according to a statement from New York. “This would mean a very dangerous escalation of the war in Ukraine. Every effort must be made to prevent the internationalization of this conflict.” The UN Secretary-General also reiterated his support for Ukraine to achieve a “fair, lasting and comprehensive peace.”

According to the United States, as many as 8,000 North Korean troops are stationed near the Ukrainian border, and Russia may commit them to war in the coming days. Russian President Vladimir Putin did not deny the presence of North Korean soldiers and claimed that Ukraine relied on personnel from NATO countries.
In addition to soldiers, Russia also receives weapons and large quantities of ammunition from North Korea. Just a few days ago, North Korean Foreign Minister Choe Son-hee announced during his visit to Moscow that North Korea will continue to support Russia “until Victory Day on the Ukraine issue.”
Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky has accused Kiev's Western partners of inaction amid the imminent deployment of North Korean soldiers wearing Russian uniforms. He accused Germany, Britain and the United States of simply standing by and watching. For two and a half years, Ukraine has been fending off Russia's aggressive war.

New batch of Russian drones arrives in Ukraine
On Sunday night, the Russian military once again dispatched a large number of drones to cover Ukraine. According to reports, a large number of so-called “kamikaze” drones initially arrived from the Sumy region in eastern Ukraine and later also arrived from the southern region of the country. Subsequently, the unmanned missiles loaded with explosives dispersed in different directions, confusing the Ukrainian air defense system. Subsequently, air warnings were issued in many places in Ukraine.
Russia launches multiple attacks on front lines
Fierce fighting broke out in various areas of Ukraine's eastern frontline. A total of 110 Russian attacks were reported on Sunday, Kyiv's general staff said in an evening situation report. The absolute hotspot was the Kurachove area, where the Russians advanced 54 times in one day, putting tremendous pressure on the Ukrainian defenders. Russian forces are said to have gained new territory there and captured two villages, according to pro-government Ukrainian military channel Deep State.

Zelensky: We must bring children back to Ukraine
Meanwhile, Zelensky is working to secure the return of thousands of children abducted by Russia to Ukraine. “No one can say exactly how many people there are today,” he said in an evening video address. «We know there are tens of thousands; they are very young children and teenagers. People who have relatives in Ukraine. And those whose relatives were tragically killed in Russian attacks. “

Ukraine is working to bring these children home. While it is possible to exchange adults with Russia, such an exchange is difficult for children. It’s about “little Ukrainian people who were separated from their families, children who were brought to Russia from the temporarily occupied territories of Ukraine, and children that Russia tried to hide.”
Against this background, the International Criminal Court issued an arrest warrant for Kremlin Chairman Vladimir Putin in March last year. The court accused him of being responsible for the abduction of Ukrainian children from Russian-occupied areas of Ukraine. An arrest warrant was issued for the Russian Commissioner for Children’s Rights, Maria Lwowa-Belowa, for the same reason. The arrest warrant prevents Putin from entering many countries.
