Most of the danger in Type Soul comes from the permanent presence of aggressive fellow players, just waiting to strike you down. There are some dangers outside of that, however, such as the Type Soul Jidanbo boss. Read on to learn all about him.
Type Soul is a Bleach-inspired Action RPG on the Roblox platform. The game incorporates many of the iconic characters and elements from the show, resulting in an experience perfect for die-hard fans. One such character is the giant gatekeeper of the Soul Society, Jidanbo, who appears as a boss. In this guide, I’ll walk you through the fight and the rewards.

Type Soul Jidanbo Boss Guide
In this guide, I’ll show you where to find Jidanbo, how to fight him, and what you can get for beating him.
Jidanbo Location
You can find Jidanbo in the Soul Society, the hub area for Soul Reaper characters. He spawns in the bamboo garden area with staircases on either side. Like the Type Soul Bawabawa boss, he spawns in on a timer, so keep an eye on the in-game clock if you’re planning to challenge him.
Battle Strategies
Despite his large size, Jidanbo is a surprisingly agile opponent. He has a number of powerful melee combos he can use up-close, including a slam attack that deals AOE damage. For this reason, it’s best to keep your distance when fighting him and slowly wear him down with ranged attacks.
It’s also a good idea to make use of the walls in his arena. You can climb the ladders to get a better vantage point for your ranged attacks, and even land some melee hits from just outside his range. Jidanbo has a lot of health, so be prepared for a long fight, even if you bring friends along.

After you finally bring Jidanbo down, you have a chance to score some of his item drops! Most of these are exclusive to Shinigami or Arrancar characters, but any character can get a Soul Ticket from him. Here’s a complete list of the available drops.

Non-Exclusive Drops
