Type Soul Hollow Guide
Now, let’s move on to the guide!
How to Become a Hollow in Type Soul
You’ll need to load into the game with a brand-new character before you can start becoming a Hollow, as it’s an irreversible change. Right, shall we get started on each step?
Fishbone to Menos
Fishbones are the first stage of the Hollow progression. Evolving is simple, as all you need to do is defeat other Hollows around the map, followed by eating their body parts. You can kill NPC Hollows and player Hollows, as both give you EXP. Once you’ve earned enough EXP, you evolve into the next stage.
Menos to Adjuchas
Instead of eating Hollows, this time you need to step on them. Before you do this though, you have to open up your skill tree and equip the Menos Cero. You can find this in the Kido skill tree! It’s all about earning enough EXP again.
While you can remove your mask even as a Menos, I don’t recommend doing this. You evolve into an Arrancar, but it’s a much weaker version.
Adjuchas
When your character becomes an Adjuchas, there are cracks on your screen. This is your mask! To gain additional cracks, you must defeat the Adjuchas NPCs in Hueco Mundo. Killing these NPCs grants you 2 cracks. However, you gain 5 cracks by being defeated yourself.
Albino Adjuchas to Vasto Lorde
When you get a total of 25 cracks, you turn into an Albino Adjuchas. If you are defeated by a player who is also an Albino Adjuchas, you reset back to 0 cracks. To unlock Vasto Lorde from this form, you can do one of two things:
- Defeat another Albino Adjuchas (must be a player)
- Or, look for the lines that move across your screen and follow them to find a Vasto Lorde NPC. You must defeat this NPC to evolve! If the NPC kills you, you turn back into a Menos
Like with Menoscars, you can remove your mask as an Adjuchas to evolve, but your form will be weaker.
Vasto Lorde to Vastocar
As a Vasto Lorde, all you need to do is take your mask off to evolve into a Vastocar. You do this by simultaneously hitting the Control key and K on your keyboard!
