Netmarble has announced the partnership between two fighting giants who really need no introductions; The King of Fighters Allstar will play host to Capcom’s iconic series Street Fighter, specifically the latest entry Street Fighter 6, with three legendary fighters set to kick off the collab.
Proving the legend true that he does go with everything, Guile is a Yellow Defense type fighter, who has the rather envious leader skill of increasing the attack of all fighters, with the buff raising when defeating enemies. His Special Skill will deal Bleed damage equal to the number of attacks as you hit the Blast skill. Overall, a strong opener.
With a slightly lesser version of Guiles’ Leader Skill, Jamie is a Purple Attacker who increases the attack of only other Purple fighters. He does also have the ability to decrease skill cooldowns, however, whilst also increasing ATK speed. A nice utility character if you really need to include him, but not really much to write home about.
Rounding off our trio of pugilists is Juri Han, also Purple, also with a Leader Skill to increase other Purple fighter’s attack, but with a balance type instead. Her Special is also a support skill, decreasing defence and increasing DMG on the target when landing her Active Skill. As a team member, she could be pretty good at softening up the enemy.
To celebrate this legendary coming together of icons, there is a host of events to take part in. The first will be recognisable to most game players, the classic Smash the Car minigame. Choose one of three levels, and then lay waste to a car within the time limit. If you prefer to fight something that will hit back though, you’re also covered.
Take part in a Collab Dream Match, where you can enjoy a real-time 3v3 battle with various collab fighters, or ground yourself more in reality with a boss showdown. Guile will be your brutal opponent, and those who vanquish him will earn special items from the Street Fighter franchise, which surely has to be that headband right?
