TOP O’ THE MORNIN’
‘Good Morning, General’ – Intern From Kamala Harris’ Attorney General Days Shares Eye-Opening Stories
Harris was elected as California Attorney General in 2010; this entitled, diva behavior is something one would expect much later in someone’s career, although it’s never acceptable, especially for someone who’s supposed to be a humble public servant. But seeing the trajectory of staff complaints in her office, it’s not surprising.
Joe Biden Threatens Mike Johnson’s Life in Incredibly Bizarre and Concerning Scene
Let’s say he didn’t mean it, though. That would mean he’s such an invalid that he has no idea what he’s saying at any given moment. Neither explanation is acceptable for a President of the United States.
Kamala Harris Is Making Democrats Start to Sweat
The fact is that Kamala Harris is a horrible candidate, the worst in fact since Her Imperial Majesty Hillary I, Dowager-Empress of Chappaqua – who lost, it must be pointed out, to none other than Donald Trump.
WHAT’S ON TAP?
Today on Capitol Hill…
The House is out, but there are a handful of Senate hearings/meetings on the Hill Tuesday, including:
- Senate Armed Services — Hearings to examine the findings and recommendations of the Commission on the National Defense Strategy
- Senate Foreign Relations — Hearings to examine strategic competition with the PRC, focusing on assessing U.S. competitiveness beyond the Indo-Pacific
- Senate Finance — Hearings to examine tax tools for local economic development
- Senate Commerce, Science, and Transportation, Tourism, Trade, and Export Subcommittee — Hearings to examine rural export opportunities, focusing on enabling rural businesses to grow at home while competing abroad
- Senate Homeland Security and Governmental Affairs — A joint hearing to examine the security failures leading to the assassination attempt on former President Trump (Acting Secret Service Director Ronald Rowe to testify, along with Paul Abbate, Deputy Director, FBI)
White House What’s Up
President Joe Biden was set to arrive back at the White House from Texas around 1:00 a.m., so his Tuesday schedule is very light. Karine Jean-Pierre will hold an early afternoon press briefing. Then Biden will participate in a mid-afternoon call with Brazil’s President, Luiz Inácio Lula da Silva.
Full Court Press…
El Chapo’s son, Joaquin Guzman Lopez, is set to appear in court in Chicago Tuesday. Security measures are being stepped up. Suspected Gilgo Beach killer Rex Heuermann is also due in court on Tuesday.
Of Primary Concern
Arizona holds its state and congressional primaries on Tuesday.
MORNING MUSING
Unlike our friend Sam over at Twitchy, I…did not participate in the #WhiteDudesForKamala call Monday evening. I did, however, follow her Twitter/X timeline and catch a couple of clips from it. I’m trying to figure out how to say what I want to say tactfully because my intent isn’t to be mean but merely to acknowledge how…clarifying an exercise such as that can be. There’s got to be a fascinating social-psychological study in there somewhere about what distinguishes those drawn to such an event and those not. And…those attracted to/intrigued by those drawn to such an event and those not. I was left with this thought:
Dear conservative dudes, whatever your skin tone may be: Thank you for being you.
