Trump opposes Harris' media blitz trashing Bob Woodward, Howard Stern and their hurricane briefings

At one point, at least, the Kremlin favored Bob Woodward over Donald Trump.

Woodward is releasing a new book, and his headline-making revelations include his account of what happened when the pandemic hit, when the death toll rose and people were unable to get Covid-19 test kits at home.

From sitting with a kissy face on 'The View' to tougher questions on '60 Minutes,' Kamala Harris is making news

President Trump sent it secretly at that time in 2020 Vladimir Putin Several Abbott point-of-care Covid testing machines are “for your personal use.”

The Trump campaign said Woodward's book, an advance copy of which was obtained by CNN, consists entirely of made-up stories.

However, Kremlin spokesman Dmitry Peskov confirmed receipt of The Covid Machine.

“For testing, when the epidemic started, countries did not have enough equipment,” Peskov said. “And many countries exchanged these gestures of support and sent each other shipments of the various equipment they had.”

In fact, in the spring of 2020, Russia sent 60 tons of medical equipment to the Trump administration.

Woodward also quoted the Russian dictator telling Trump: “I don’t want you to tell anyone because people will be mad at you, not me.

But Peskov disputed another of Woodward's claims that Trump has been in contact with Putin since leaving the White House, including up to seven phone calls. “As for the calls, it’s a lie,” Peskov said.

But in the book “The War,” a Washington Post detective described a scene in which Trump asked a top aide to leave the room so he could “have a private call with Russian President Vladimir Putin to explain what he said.” ”. Trump officials now say they have no knowledge of such conversations.

The former president gave Woodward 18 recorded interviews for his previous book, but they were abandoned after the veteran reporter wrote that Trump was unfit for office — and was sued by his subjects to release the recordings.

I know Woodward's work very well and any journalist can be fooled by sources, but he doesn't make things up.

Other parts of the book deal with Joe Biden Confronted by Putin about the imminent invasion of Ukraine, Kamala Harris warned a skeptic, Volodymyr Zelensky, and – officials assumed there was a 50 percent chance he could use a tactical nuclear weapon against the Ukrainians – called the head of the Kremlin a “symbol of evil”.

In a statement from Trump's spokesman, which appeared to be directed by his boss, Woodward was described as a “truly disturbed and deranged person who suffers from a debilitating case of Trump Derangement Syndrome. Woodward is an angry, mean, and clearly upset person. Because President Trump has unauthorized recordings of him. “Because of the revelation that President Trump gave him absolutely no access to this garbage book that is used in the fiction section of a discount bookstore or as toilet paper. Woodward is a complete scumbag who has lost his mind, and he is slow, lazy, incompetent and rude. A boring and personalityless person.

Why stop there?

Trump, who prides himself on being a counterattacker, wasted no time before leaving.

Harris in Michigan

After Harris' friendly radio interview with Howard Stern, who said voting for Trump would be crazy, this post appeared on Truth Social:

“Beta man Howard Stern made a fool of himself on his low-rated radio show when he 'interviewed' Kamala Harris and bombarded her with so many softball questions that even she was embarrassed.

“He seemed like a real idiot, working so hard to make a completely incompetent and ill-equipped person look as good as possible, which wasn't very good. I dismissed Howard a long time ago, as did others, and have since given him credit. very good judgment given!”

Donald and Howard were once friends in New York, of course, and Trump attended their wedding.

Trump attacked campaign manager Chris LaCivita for covering an official briefing on Fox News (among other networks), which featured Biden and Harris, about Hurricane Milton as the giant storm headed toward Florida.

“@FoxNews is as bad as any other 'cable news' network…literally running propaganda and @kamalaharris TV ad disguised as a press conference,” Chris LaCivita posted on X.

There is certainly a political advantage for Harris to show that he and FEMA are working hard to prepare for storms in Florida, much like when Ron DeSantis presses the Category 5 threat.

But Kamala's media campaign ended up producing some news after weeks in which Trump dominated the campaign, reflecting his determination to insert himself into every story that comes his way, no matter how negative.
