Daughters of What Not to Wear stars Trinny Woodall and Susannah Constantine have revealed they think their mothers are “cancelled now”.
Susanna's daughter Esme Bertelsen, 23, and Trini's daughter Laila Elichoff, 21, are the cover stars of Tatler's December issue.
Trinny, 60, and Susanna, 62, got together in the early 90s. Before building a lasting reputation as a TV couple, they wrote The Telegraph's fashion column.
They were known to make sarcastic comments to each other about Susannah's “chicken arms” or Trini's “flat chest.”
But Esme and Layla appeared on their joint media and joked that they would now be 'canceled' because of the way their mothers spoke to each other.
The daughters of What Not to War stars Trinny Woodall and Susanna Constantine have revealed on the cover of Tatler that they believe their mothers will “be cancelled”.
Susanna's daughter Esme Bertelson, 23, and Trinny's daughter Laila Elichoff, 21, will be the cover stars of Tatler's December issue.
Known as the queens of the London scene, Esme and Laila have been friends all their lives through their mothers.
“I think they will be canceled if the show happens now,” Laila said.
“You can't talk to people like that anymore and say, 'You're so ugly.'”
Laila, whose father is Danish businessman Sten Bertelsen, studies communication and digital media at IE University in Madrid, while Esme studies art history at Bristol.
Layla's father, Johnny Elichoff, is a former drummer for Stark Naked and the Car Thieves who became a financial advisor. He committed suicide in 2014 at the age of 11.
Although they both grew up in the London fashion scene, Layla and Esme agreed on what not to wear or what Trinny and Susanna would wear.
When asked if they were fans of the show, they both responded simultaneously, “I've never really seen it.”
But, as Esme said, they do remember some of their time on set: “I remember going to places like Poland or Sweden and doing European tours.

Laila added: 'I was about six or seven years old. It was in some country in Europe, but I don't remember which one.
“This girl wanted to look like Hannah Montana and no one knew who she was except me, so I had to help.”
Their mothers have gifted them with some of their iconic fashion pieces over the years.
Esme revealed that her mother gave her a pair of snakeskin heels, a chiffon Prada dress, a long multicolored Missoni coat, and silver and gold Miu Miu heels.
Meanwhile, Layla received a green and black Prada dress to wear to her 18th birthday party.
Esme admits that her mother gave her “free rein” to wear whatever she wanted.
“I was never allowed to wear ripped jeans,” Laila added. 'I think it's better to let your children make their own fashion and make serious mistakes.
