Gacha RPG Tower of Fantasy has announced its latest simulacrum in the form of Nan Yin, a “ruthless, cold, and mysterious” character joining the game’s roster next week.

We got our first glimpse of Nan Yin when Tower of Fantasy update 3.4 was announced last week, but developer Hotta Studio and publisher Level Infinite have now revealed more info about this simulacrum.

Nan Yin is Tower of Fantasy‘s newest stylish simulacrum.

According to Hotta and Level Infinite, Nan Yin was once the Overseer of Marshville’s Yuheng, but she disappeared two years ago after attempting to explore the Black Jade Ruin.

What she found there has effected a transformation into “an enemy”, according to the two studios.

She’s now capable of using her flute to control the dead, and she has “uncanny intuition” too. These skills make her one of Domain 9’s most feared individuals.

Nan Yin will arrive alongside Tower of Fantasy‘s 3.4 update, which will also bring new regions to explore and new bosses to conquer, as well as new enemy types and more.

Both are due to land on November 21st, so make sure you mark your calendar if you’re a Tower of Fantasy fan, current or lapsed.

If you’re unfamiliar with Tower of Fantasy, it’s a free-to-play action RPG that will look fairly familiar if you’re a fan of HoYoverse’s Genshin Impact or Honkai: Star Rail.

The game takes place on a distant planet which humanity has colonized after leaving Earth and allows you to build a team of “simulacrums” in order to take on quests and story challenges.

Characters have access to a wide variety of different weapons and styles, so you can assemble a team based on your preferred playstyle.

Tower of Fantasy is available right now for PC, PlayStation consoles, and mobile devices. Stay tuned for more information on this game as and when we get it.
