Activision has made an exciting announcement, revealing that Tony Hawk’s Pro Skater 1 + 2 will finally launch on Steam next month, October 3rd. Developed by Vicarious Visions, this skateboarding title brings the fully remastered version of the 1999 Tony Hawk’s Pro Skater and its 2000 sequel, Tony Hawk’s Pro Skater 2, in one epic collection. This latest entry in the Tony Hawk’s series first launched in 2020 for PlayStation 4 and Xbox One, followed by a PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X|S, and Nintendo Switch release in 2021.
Tony Hawk’s Pro Skater 1 + 2 rebuilds the first two games in the series from the ground up in incredible high-definition. Since its initial launch on consoles, the game received positive reviews, owing to its stunning graphics, diverse roster, nostalgic soundtrack, and exciting gameplay.
As with its predecessors, Tony Hawk’s Pro Skater 1 + 2 allows players to skate as the legendary Tony Hawk and the original pro roster, along with several new pros. Players will be able to listen to songs from the era-defining soundtrack, while they execute insane trick combos with the iconic handling of Tony Hawk’s Pro Skater series.
Tony Hawk’s Pro Skater 1 + 2 features all the original modes and introduces local two-player modes. It also includes upgraded Create-A-Park and Create-A-Skater features, allowing players to express their style and creativity. For those seeking more challenges, Tony Hawk’s Pro Skater 1 + 2 also allows players to compete against other players from around the world in Multiplayer modes and climb up the leaderboards.
Tony Hawk’s Pro Skater 1 + 2 is also available in the Digital Deluxe edition, which offers the complete Tony Hawk’s Pro Skater 1 + 2 game, ‘The Ripper’ skater from Powell-Peralta, unique retro outfits for Tony Hawk, Steve Caballero and Rodney Mullen, and unique retro content for the Create-A-Skater mode.
