Tomb Raider 3 Remastered’s Easter Egg Suggests The Last Revelation Remaster Could be Next
On the top left corner of the screen, players will see a bunch of numbers that correspond to the release date of Tomb Raider 1-3 Remastered. However, what’s noteworthy is the information in the bottom right part, which includes coordinates to Giza, along with the word “Next.” Giza was one of the major locations in which Tomb Raider 4 was based. Additionally, the user also highlights that the radar could be symbolic of the planetarium in the Lost Library, while the spiral could correspond to a similar structure above Lara’s statue in Cleopatra’s Palaces, both of which are iconic areas in the game.
While these hints to the potential next remaster have certainly got fans excited, it is crucial to note that this is not the only instance of the developers hinting at it in the collection. In the Offshore Rig area of Tomb Raider 2 Remastered, players will find two screens, with one containing the original release dates of the four games. The second screen pays homage to the fans, as it consists of a few messages from the community requesting a remaster of the Tomb Raider games.
Many Tomb Raider fans are excited after finding this Easter egg, as it is considered one of the best games in the franchise. Others have become quite optimistic that it might also lead to a remaster of Tomb Raider: Angel of Darkness, which many in the community believe had a lot of potential but was let down by its bugs. Whether these speculations actually materialize remains to be seen.
