Tom Parker's widow Kelsey reveals the couple's children 'love' her new boyfriend and believes the Wanted star helped bring them together two years after his tragic death.

The Kelsey and Late Wanted star died in March 2022 after a battle with brain cancer aged just 33, leaving behind her daughter Aurelia, five, and four-year-old son Bodhi.

Despite recovering from the backlash from cruel trolls after going public with her new relationship, The Wanted singer said she believes there is help in finding love again.

Telling told MailOnline at the Pride of Britain awards: “I think he's very special, of course, and I feel a bit of magic when Tom meets him.”

When asked why, he said: “I don't know, it's about him.” He is very handsome, loving and affectionate. He sadly lost his father at 21, so he understands the pain and what my children are going through, so he can really be there. He is also a tremendous pillar of strength for me.

Kelsey explained that they actually met “for real” on a night out in Kent after reports that the pair allegedly met at Tom's funeral.

“I think there was a mutual feeling between us. I don't know, it was quite [unexpected] Obviously I wasn't expecting to find anyone and it left me speechless.

He continues: 'Bodhi turned four yesterday and I really can't believe it. She was 35 weeks pregnant with Tom when she was diagnosed. [with a brain tumour] So I feel like his whole life, the last four years, have been pretty crazy.

Luckily we are in a good place, we celebrated yesterday, but I still don't think about Christmas. I was busy with work and getting on with my life.

It comes after Kelsey shared heartbreaking news of grief while thanking fans for their support amid her new romance.

After breaking the news about her new boyfriend, she was forced to respond to hate messages from trolls.

On Instagram last month, Kelsey thanked her fans for supporting her during her new romance and admitted she was “reluctant” to share this part of her life.

“Grief is something I will always talk about; it will always be a part of my life and the children's lives,” she said.

She added: “But now I'm walking this path as a single mother and it's challenging at times.”

Kelsey revealed that she met Will while fundraising for her late husband.

In the lines of her new book, Kelsey Parker: With and Without You, Theceived Sun, Kelsey reflects on her journey with grief and her search for love again.

She explained: 'I let go of that guilt in my grief journey. Tom would want me to be happy.

Kelsey began dating electrician Sean Bogans in November 2022 following the death of her husband last March. Final breakup in December 2023 after an intermittent relationship.
