If you love Pokemon, you have come to the right place, as the Pokemon Plush Holiday Tree you’re going to see is simply a thing of beauty.
Announced on November 22 via press release and put on display yesterday at the North Atrium of the Westfield shopping center in White City, London, this massive Holiday tree is made with hundreds of Pokemon plushies.
As a matter of fact, there are over 800 of them, according to the press release. It’ll be on display until December 4.
The tree is absolutely massive, measuring over 5 meters (just south of 17 feet) in height. It’s certainly likely to charm Pokemon trainers from all over the world with all the cute critters of all sizes populating its sides all the way to the top, where you can see a large Pikachu adorned by a cute red ribbon around its neck.
While the mockup included in the press release doesn’t really do the real thing justice, luckily YouTube user published an extensive video showing the tree and its surrounding installation.
Normally, the coolest Pokemon collaborations and exhibitions are in Japan, but this Holiday season London is giving the motherland of the franchise a run for its money.
This comes just after the first anniversary of the release of the latest mainline game of the series, Pokemon Scarlet and Violet, which was celebrated with a cute music video starring Nemona. If you still haven’t purchased it, you can do so on Amazon.
If you’d like to read more about the game, you can read our review, in which our Andrew Stretch awarding it with an 8.5 out of 10. We also have a review of the first DLC, The Teal Mask, which received exactly the same score as the original game.
On December 14, a second DLC titled The Indigo Disk is going to be released, completing the story of The Hidden Treasure of Area Zero.
