Apple fans rejoice! ToyTopia, the hotly anticipated match-three puzzler from Webzen, is finally live on iOS—though only in select regions.
Already available on Android since July, ToyTopia is a colorful casual puzzler that sees you taking on villain gimmicks as you work your way through a series of challenging puzzles in a charming world of toys.
Like Candy Crush and countless other impossibly addictive casual puzzlers, ToyTopia tasks you with matching blocks to make lines and shapes.
The more you match in one move, the bigger the rewards. A line of three will simply clear three blocks, while a line of five will create a powerful Rainbow Ball, destroying every block of a particular color in a single glorious blast.
Other power-ups include Toy Police Cars, which race across the screen cutting a swathe through the blocks, and Rockets, which clear a section of the screen by helpfully exploding.
This might all sound a bit familiar, but ToyTopia brings a wealth of new features to the party. Alongside its match-three gameplay, for example, there’s a whole town-building metagame.
As you work your way through the campaign you’ll unlock new characters and buildings. And then you’ll earn Coins by placing them appropriately.
Plus, there’s a story to follow. As you can imagine, it’s adorable.
And Webzen has upped the ante for this iOS release, introducing several improvements and new features.
Plus, there’s a time-limited event to celebrate the launch. Treasure Island—which Android users already got to play in October—adds 15 new stages featuring renowned pirate Captain Silver, along with new maps and rewards.
If you’re quick, you can also take advantage of a daily login event. For its first seven days on the App Store, ToyTopia is giving away Hearts and Coins to everybody who shows up.
ToyTopia is available for free right now on both the Google Play Store and the App Store, as long as you live in the US, Canada, Europe, Australia, the Philippines, Thailand, and a handful of other countries.
