Fortnite’s Creative mode has become very popular over the past few years. In March 2023, Epic Games released UEFN (Unreal Editor for Fortnite), which further increased the popularity of the mode. Due to this, it’s no surprise that players spend approximately 50% of playtime in creator-made experiences, and we expect this number to get even higher.
Epic recently revealed more big things coming to Fortnite, and a lot of them will drastically improve UEFN. For now, you can choose one from more than 150,000 Fortnite Creative maps to play. Interestingly, one of these maps rewards you with free cosmetic items for beating it. However, if you need even more cosmetics, check out our guide on how to unlock free Fortnite skins.
Earn free cosmetic items by playing this Fortnite map
Only Up is one of the most popular Fortnite Creative maps. It’s one of the first UEFN maps that attracted millions of players, so it’s no wonder that its LEGO Fortnite version recently came out. The goal of the game is to climb as high as possible and reach new heights. Once you reach the end, however, you will be able to earn a free cosmetic item. You can access the map with the following code: 1965-7240-5407.
To claim your cosmetic item, you need to get to the highest stage of the map. Once you do so, you need to interact with a button, and the code for a free cosmetic item will appear in the chat log. When you see it, take a screenshot, then redeem a Fortnite code on the game’s official website.
It’s important to note that the code for free Fortnite cosmetic item can only be redeemed once. If you claim it on the website, it will no longer be valid. However, the map creator keeps adding new updates to the map, and new codes will come out every few days. The Fortnite map has had four different versions so far, and a new one is likely around the corner.
Here are some tips you can use to get to the top:
- Always calculate your jump and don’t be in a rush
- You can control your character mid-air, so do it if necessary
- Look on every side before jumping and locate the closest object
Keep in mind that the code for a free cosmetic item will only be visible for a limited time. If you get to the top and interact with the button, take a screenshot as quickly as possible. If you fail to do so, you can also save a gameplay video from the last few minutes of your gameplay. The code is not visible in the replay mode, so you’ll have to get it while playing the map.
