The video shows aggression against a cafe employee in the Iguatemi shopping center

A surveillance camera installed inside the Mini Kalzone outlet in Shopping Iguatemi recorded the moment an employee of the outlet was attacked by a customer (see below). The photos show a woman throwing a glass of juice at the victim, who is then comforted by a friend.

The case happened at the end of September. The attack allegedly occurred after a customer asked for a straw and was told the store did not provide one. The furious 48-year-old woman threw the product at the saleswoman.

The case, which has received wide coverage on social media, is being investigated by the police. According to delegate Alexandre Vieira, the attacker could be charged with the crime of actual insult, which is punishable by three months to one year in prison.

The employee, a 19-year-old girl, revealed her feelings through a video where, very shaken, she said she was suffering from an anxiety attack and that she had never been in a similar situation.

Mini Kalzone announced in an official note that it provides all legal and psychological support to an employee on sick leave. The company also contacted the relevant authorities and mall security to help identify the attacker and bring him to justice.

The incident occurred as a result of the Customer's dissatisfaction with the policy of not providing straws, which was adopted in strict accordance with local law.

From the moment of the incident, our team immediately took action to provide the employee with the necessary support, offering resources so that she could return home safely and be welcomed into a family environment. Additionally, appropriate action was taken immediately by contacting the appropriate authorities and project security to help identify the attacker.

Less than eight hours after the incident, a police report was recorded, along with photos of the store's security.

Since the incident, we have continued to actively engage with the authorities to ensure those responsible are identified and justice is served, while remaining transparent and respecting legal processes. We clarify that in accordance with the provisions of the General Data Protection Act (LGPD), security images cannot be made publicly available and are only available to competent authorities.

Mini Kalzone provided legal and psychological support to the employee, reaffirming our commitment to her well-being and safety. For us, this is not an isolated incident of violence, but an insult to the values ​​and principles we defend. We will make every effort to protect our team and seek accountability for our actions.
