Omnipotence was introduced towards the end of Boruto: Naruto Next Generations, and it is a Jutsu that is still being explored as Boruto: Two Blue Vortex continues. This is an incredible jutsu the likes of which have never been seen before and the powers of which surpass all others seen in the story, and for good reasons. This technique of the gods is in a league of its own, with fans now beginning to find out more details about this truly frightening ability.

Omnipotence is a jutsu that is believed to be a godly technique. In other words, it is a shinjutsu, and isn’t classified in the same rank as the likes of genjutsu, or ninjutsu, or even taijutsu. Shinjutsu are godly techniques that can be utilized by a select few individuals. It is believed that out of all the shinjutsu, Omnipotence is the strongest. While it is unknown if there was more than one user of this technique, what fans know is that one particular individual who reached godly levels of power, Shibai Otsutsuki, was one user of this technique. Shibai consumed so many chakra fruits and underwent so many karmic resurrections that he ended up turning into a god himself.

He left behind his mortal body and ascended to a completely different plane of existence, and much about him ever since remains unknown. However, while in the process of consuming these chakra fruits, he achieved the power of God and gained access to shinjutsu. It is believed that with a slight movement of his hand, storms would rage on, and with his roar, lightning would strike. He could easily destroy planets with his powers, and the strongest of abilities that he possessed was, undoubtedly, the power of Omnipotence.

Since Shibai ascended to a completely different plan of existence, fans couldn’t see him utilize this ability. However, the genius scientist, Amado, used the remains of Shibai and infused Ada’s body with this ability while working on her. As such, she is the only user of this ability in the Boruto series at the moment, however, her control over this power isn’t proper. Ada cannot control this power and can only utilize it subconsciously.

Omnipotence is quite a dangerous jutsu, and one that truly deserves the title of godly. Simply put, this jutsu allow the user to turn any of their desires into a reality. Whatever the user desires in the world, will end up becoming a reality through the power of Omnipotence, and that is the strength of this technique. It is believed that gods ended up creating the world using the power of Omnipotence and that throughout history, they have utilized this technique on humanity and other living forms over and over again, shaping them into exactly how they want them to be. The power of Omnipotence is completely unmatched. Fans have only seen a weaker version of Omnipotence through Ada, however, even this version, which is clearly not as strong as Shibai’s Omnipotence, is absolutely mind-blowing.

So far, Ada has utilized Omnipotence twice. The first time she used the power of Omnipotence was when she was seeking true love and, in the quest for it, she subconsciously wished for people to be bewitched by her. As such, anyone who places their eyes on Ada is completely enamored by her beauty. They experience symptoms such as fevers, dizziness, and flushing, among others. The only exception to this are the Otsutsuki, and, for some reason, Sarada Uchiha and Sumire. Anyone other than those exempted from it easily ends up being manipulated by this power, regardless of whether they want to feel those things or not.

The second time that Ada used this power was towards the end of Part 1 of the Boruto series. When Kawaki was cornered, Ada, in an attempt to get Kawaki to like her better, and to save him, unknowingly brought his innermost desire to life. As such, Boruto Uzumaki and Kawaki swapped lives and Kawaki was recognized as the true son of Naruto, the 7th Hokage. Kawkai ended up becoming Kawaki Uzumaki, while Boruto became the orphan boy that Naruto adopted, who ended up repaying him with treachery and killing him instead. This swap that was caused by Omnipotence was caused all over the world, and even those in a separate dimension were properly affected by it, which just goes to show the tremendous scope of this jutsu.

The True Strength Of Omnipotence

Omnipotence Is Irreversible

While Omnipotence is a great technique, its true strength lies in the fact that this technique cannot be broken free from. For one, the user, Ada, who cannot control its powers, cannot turn this technique off. At the same time, if someone kills Ada, that won’t reverse the effects of Omnipotence. This means that once cast, Omnipotence cannot be turned off, which is absolutely incredible. At the same time, the true strength of Omnipotence lies in the fact that no matter how many times an individual finds out the truth, their memories are slowly overwritten once again. This has been proven by Boruto Uzumaki, as according to him, Shikamaru found out the truth again and again on many occasions previously. Despite that, his memories keep getting overwritten, which means he still ends up forgetting the truth, no matter what.

What it is, is that the concept of ‘omnipotence’ itself doesn’t stick in your memory. It never completely settles and will be completely forgotten over time.

Similarly, other individuals have also found out the truth about Omnipotence on many occasions. Despite that, Omnipotence still manages to overwrite their memories in time, and they end up forgetting what they found out. That said, those who accept the facts of accepted memories as they are get to keep their memories, one way or another.

The fact is that Omnipotence simply cannot be broken free from. This is a jutsu that cannot be controlled by Ada, and cannot be broken free from even by the strongest of individuals in the Naruto series. This aspect of the technique makes Omnipotence the strongest jutsu in the history of Naruto. Given that it can bring any desire to life and affect all living forms on a planet and span beyond all dimensions, it is truly a jutsu that cannot be defeated.

Perhaps, the only technique that comes close to it is the Infinite Tsukuyomi, however, given that Omnipotence actually makes things happen for the user as they wish it, it might even be one step beyond Infinite Tsukuyomi, and the undisputed strongest jutsu in Naruto. Fans will most definitely find out more about it as the story continues, however, even if they don’t, it has already cemented its legacy as an overpowered technique.
