Soma Games and Forthright Entertainment have officially unveiled their upcoming narrative puzzle-adventure game, The Lost Legends of Redwall: The Scout Anthology. This latest entry in their Redwall-based game series will launch later this year, December 1st, on PC via Steam, PlayStation 5, and Xbox Series X|S.
Based on Brian Jacques’ beloved Redwall book series, The Lost Legends of Redwall: The Scout Anthology immerses players in an enchanting world where vicious searats are invading the once peaceful Mossflower wood. The game unfolds as a linear action-adventure with three acts, where players can choose to play as either Liam or Sophia, two young mice embarking on their journey as new recruits in the Scouts, a group of woodland rangers tasked with the protection of the land and trained in the ancient ways of woodcraft.
What sets The Scout Anthology apart from its predecessor is its innovative dynamic scent system. Furthermore, it requires players to make use of their mouse agility to explore the world in a unique and wondrous way. The game also encourages players to employ stealth, wit, and agility to evade enemies and manipulate dull-witted vermin with scent.
As they traverse the world of Mossflower, players may also use their trusty way glass to scope the area and identify danger. They may also use their slingshot to solve puzzles, break pots, and activate traps.
The Lost Legends of Redwall: The Scout Anthology boasts a stunning and immersive woodland environment that towers over the players as they assume the role of tiny mice. The game offers replayability with the divergent dialogues for Liam and Sophia.
