Iza Carneiro reports on the real daily life of single motherhood and becomes an inspiration for other mothers on social networks.
Isabela Carneiro gained internet fame by sharing her solo motherhood journey with three women after her ex-husband cheated on her. Today, with almost 1 million followers, she is a role model for many mothers. In an interview, the Pernambuco influencer talks about his experiences and remembers his beginnings on the Internet.
single motherhood
Issa, as she is popularly known, reveals that she has had no support since the beginning of her journey as a mother. Therefore, in addition to a heavy burden, many difficulties had to be faced.
“Since I have three daughters, I can't go anywhere without them. Sometimes an important opportunity comes my way, but if no one can keep my daughters, I will miss the opportunity. I lost many job opportunities. I never had a support network for this;
Talking about motherhood became her profession
Faced with all these difficulties, Plurra felt the need to talk to other women. That's when he started recording videos on the Internet. “Motherhood is very lonely, but I wanted to share it with someone. Even with a lot of fear and shame, I lived with women in a newly rented house,” he says.
It was precisely life that made Jesus an example. “I slowly started showing everything about my real life, from my setbacks to my achievements, and started connecting to more and more people,” he says.
Although she has already changed many layers of her life by now, Issa reveals that she has to be flexible to balance all her personal and professional tasks with motherhood. “They always ask me how to manage it and I say that you can leave two or three things for the next day. Everything is impossible, humanly impossible. At night I try to make a list and the next day there are 16 items on the list, but I can only make eight because unexpected situations arise.
“Daughters always come first”
Among so many demands, the influencer highlights that her highest priority is to always focus on her daughters. “We girls have a habit of blaming ourselves, but I have learned to balance this to give them my best. Sometimes I want to work, I look for opportunities on my cell phone, but soon they call me: 'Mom, shall we play with toys?' I thought: 'My mother doesn't play with me, so I juggle every day to create good emotional memories with my daughters,' she points out.
Today, her biggest goal is to encourage other moms not to give up: “Being a single mother is not easy, but I always tell my followers not to think that their life is over, because it is not. We just delivered. The greatest fuel in the world, for these women, I push all my limits and do things I never thought possible.
