With Amazon's Prime Big Deal Days coming to an end on October 9, other retailers are keeping pace with their own sales events. Target announced the top winner for its competition event, Circle Week, which runs through October 12.

While Amazon's “October Prime Day” only lasted two days, Target offered a whole week of deals. Target's last Circle Week ran from July 7 to 13, just before Amazon's July Prime Day. We sense a pattern…

Like Prime Day, Target Circle requires one weekly membership to shop, but unlike Prime, Circle membership is free to join. Target promotion is Round Week as a way for shoppers to stock up on fall and holiday favorites as well as everyday essentials. They brought back their popular “Deal of the Day” program, offering one-day-only deals throughout the week.

But Target doesn't stop at sales! They are also launching some exciting holiday exclusive partnerships. The brand is “Universal Pictures' premier retail destination.” Wicked,” offering both merchandise and “experiences” around the highly anticipated movie. Also, Target is reviving its partnership with British retailer Marks & Spencer to introduce new food, beverage and homeware options.
