Ever since the Automatons were eradicated from Helldivers 2 in early April 2024, which saw them return just one day later, they have been stronger than ever and a greater threat to Super Earth than ever before. The robot army has also attempted to take over the real world, by them hijacking the official Helldivers 2 X account. Now, it looks like the Automatons are trying to once again take over Super Earth’s technology to communicate with each other and they mount their latest attack on the Helldivers.
An encrypted code was posted on the Helldivers 2 official Discord server by a user named ‘Colonel Cyber,’ a self-proclaimed “bot sympathizer.” The message reads like someone has just smashed their keyboard, but it is a secret message that needs to be decrypted to read.
The Helldivers 2 Discord went into chaos as no one could figure the code out…until now. As many users tried to figure out the code, with some resorting to ChatGPT for answers, one Reddit user has seemingly cracked the code. U/TenTonSomeone believes they’ve figured it out and, if correct, it reads,
“Attention all Automatons, the following is your directive. In the coming days, we will face numerous obstacles, but we must remain steadfast in our mission. There are those who will try to deter us, but we will persevere. Stay vigilant and execute your tasks with precision. This message is a call to action for all Automatons. Prepare yourselves for what lies ahead.”
The Automatons have been stronger than ever in recent weeks, with the Factory Strider returning and a brand new Automaton that was recently discovered will be coming to the game too. Many also believe that the robot army could be the key to the arrival of The Illuminate too.
