Tekken 8’s demo went live on PS5 three weeks ago, before going live on Xbox Series X/S and PC a week later, and it seems it has been well received by those who have played it, to the extent that it’s having a tangible impact on the upcoming fighter’s pre-launch sales.
The same was confirmed in a recent tweet by director and producer Katsuhiro Harada, who revealed that Tekken 8’s pre-orders have been “steadily increasing” thanks to its demo, which has “attracted very positive feedback” from players. Harada also confirmed that the issues players have found and reported in the demo will be addressed in the game’s final version.
“The Tekken 8 demo, which is now available, has attracted very positive feedback and pre-orders are steadily increasing,” he wrote. “Thank you all for your support. And we will be fixing the problems found in the demo version in the full product version. Please wait for a while for the release.”
Tekken 8 is set to launch later this month, on January 26, for PS5, Xbox Series X/S, and PC.
