Kristina Makushenko is the latest person to dive right into the Raygun craze, posting a recreation of the infamous Australian breakdancer’s brutal Paris Olympics routine.
Makushenko posted footage of herself mimicking the Aussie’s moves under water and included a few not-too-subtle shots at the breakdancer’s Summer Games showing.
“Such signature moves,” Makushenko captioned her post. “It only took me 5 minutes to learn Raygun’s Olympic performance and recreate it underwater!
“Maybe I can participate in the @olympics in LA 2028.”
Makushenko is a four-time world champion synchronized swimmer and she had social-media users lapping it all up.
“So putting it underwater actually made it look good,” someone said on X.

“Yeah, our body has natural buoyancy under water. She perfected the whole act to stay and dance long enough under water,” another person wrote.
“Wow, she actually made it cool,” another user said in reference to Makushenko.
Raygun, whose real name is Rachel Gunn, has come under fire since her performance at the Olympics. She finished second-to-last among all B-girls in the competition.
Raygun has been facing calls for a public apology after her now-viral performance at the Olympics.
In a post to Instagram, she thanked her supporters and addressed the controversy.

“Hi everyone, Raygun here,” she said in the video. “I just wanna start by thanking all the people who have supported me. I really appreciate the positivity and I am glad I was able to bring some joy into your lives, that is what I had hoped.

A report this week said Gunn, who has amassed almost 200,000 Instagram followers, has signed with a talent agency.
