The official artwork for SNK vs. Capcom: SVC Chaos has been censored for western audiences, covering up the cleavage of Mai Shiranui and cropping out the body of the bikini armor-clad Princess Athena.
Fans began to notice the difference in artwork after seeing the recently released trailers on the SNK official YouTube channel, both the English and Japanese trailers feature the splash artwork for the game and it’s easy to see the difference (at approximately 1:30).

While Princess Athena is just a matter of cropping, it appears that SNK took the initiative to alter the image of Mai in order to make her appearance less lewd in order to suit western sensibilities. At this time we’re uncertain if any in-game content has been censored beyond the artwork used for promotion.
SNK vs. Capcom: SVC Chaos is now available for Windows PC (via Steam) and is coming to GOG, Switch, and PS4 on July 22nd.
Originally released back in 2003 by Playmore (now SNK), SNK vs. Capcom: SVC Chaos was later ported to Neo Geo arcade and home consoles. It was then ported to PS2 and Xbox, though only the Xbox version was released in North America.
