Super Mario Party Jamboree doesn’t appear to be getting a demo on the Switch eShop, but multiple retailers have the game to try out right now. This technically was first made available on October 4, but Nintendo shared the news on social media today.
Select Best Buy, GameStop, Target and Walmart locations all have the game on display. During the ten-minute timed demo for Super Mario Party Jamboree, players can try out Koopathlon and Minigame Bay. Minigame Bay limits the modes to Showdown Minigame Battle, Free Play, and Tag Match.
Koopathlon, which will support up to 20 players online, involves racing across the party board to see who can rack up the highest scores in minigames. Players can get to the goal faster with higher scores in each round.
Minigame Bay lets players jump right into over 110 minigames. Outside of Showdown Minigame Battle, Free Play, and Tag Match, it also features Daily Challenge and Survival.
Note that the final game will include other modes as well. The others are Bowser Kaboom Squad, Rhythm Kitchen, Paratroopa Flight School, and Toad’s Item Factory.
Super Mario Party Jamboree launches for Switch worldwide on October 17, 2024. You can check out the game’s most recent trailer here.
Thanks to Nintendo for today’s news.
