Bundesliga

Augsburg – Hoffenheim 0:0

Drawing lots doesn’t really help anyone. Augsburg (without the injured Vargas) and Hoffenheim parted ways with a tired No. 0. Augsburg missed a step towards a European place and Hoffenheim could not stay away from the relegation zone.

Stuttgart-Eintracht Frankfurt 2:3

Stuttgart continue to struggle this season. In the 10th round of the Bundesliga, he unfortunately lost 2-3 at home to Frankfurt.

Former St. Gallen player Elmedin Demirovic is the unluckiest man on this Stuttgart side. In the 22nd minute, the Bosnian hit the edge of the goal twice, but his penalty was blocked by Frankfurt goalkeeper Kevin Trapp. It wasn't until the 86th minute, some time after Fabian Riedel had been substituted, that last season's runners-up started scoring. Josha Vagnoman and Nick Woltemade cut the deficit to 2-3. Chris Frisch's 97th-minute equalizer did not survive the scrutiny of the video referee.

Frankfurt are significantly more efficient without Orele Armenda. Ugo Ekitike, Nathaniel Brown and Omar Mamouche scored respectively to give the team a 3-0 lead. Frankfurt ranked third and Stuttgart ranked only 11th.

Serie A

AS Roma – Bologna 2:3

From a Swiss perspective, Bologna's away win against Roma was costly. In the 23rd minute, Natty offensive player Dan Ndoye crashed into the post and injured his leg. The 24-year-old had to be carried off the field and his availability for the Nations League next week is highly doubtful. Swedish striker Jesper Carlsson emerged as the winner of the match.
