Strictly Come Dancing's Nick Knowles is the third star to be evicted after losing the dreaded dance-off with Luba Fist in tears after suffering various injuries.

Nick Knowles became the third star to be evicted on Come Dancing after he and Luba Fist failed to dance together with Shayne Ward and Nancy Sue.

Both couples repeated their routines; Shane and Nancy sang Cha Cha to Ain't No Love (Ain't No Use) by Sub Sub Fight. Melanie Williams.

Later, Nick and Luba perform their Charleston rendition of Rain on the Roof from Paddington 2.

However, despite returning to the competition in short order after recovering from a shoulder and knee injury, the 62-year-old Nick was sent home by all four judges – Shirley Ballas, Craig Revel Harwood, Move Mabuse and Anton du Beck.

When Tess was asked about their time on the show, Nick said: 'I was really surprised by how much I loved doing it and the two things that happen.'

'I was able to do this with Luba's transformations and she was amazing.'

Luba said: 'I've never met someone as determined as you, and I remember you saying that if you do your best, you'll be very happy. I think you did more than you could. Thank you.'

When Tess was asked about her partner Luba, Nick shared: 'Lupa has been absolutely amazing every day.

'Also, I have to thank all the background staff, the physios, all the people who really got me this week and all my fellow contestants who were absolutely amazing, lovely people.
