Capcom is teaming up with NERDS Clothing and producer Steel Sessions to celebrate the 50th anniversary of the Hip Hop genre with Street Fighter. A new soundtrack inspired by the sights, sounds and actions of the Street Fighter franchise is available now on all streaming platforms, and a physical release for the soundtrack is slated for Q4 2023, and will be available exclusively in the U.S.
The album features quite a few major names from the hip hop genre, such as D-Block, Smoke DZA, and Nym Lo, among many others.
The soundtrack features 17 tracks inspired by the Street Fighter franchise, including songs like Evil Ryu by Charlie Clips, Violent Ken by DNA, Sonic Boom by Mega Ran and Dezzy Yates, and Street Fighting by Dave East. Check out the complete track list for the soundtrack below.
Street Fighter 6 taps into the hip hop aesthetics for just about everything it does, from the graffiti-styled main menu, to the splashy effects when using many of the game’s special moves. The title recently got its newest character, A.K.I., back in September.
Available on PC, PS5, PS4, and Xbox Series X/S, you can check out our review of Street Fighter 6 for more details.
