Since its launch over half a year ago, Street Fighter 6 has added two DLC characters in the form of Rashid and A.K.I.. Capcom recently confirmed that the third fighter, Ed, would be releasing sometime in February, and now, the publisher has confirmed a specific launch date for the DLC.
Street Fighter 6’s roster will add Ed on February 27, and will be available to owners of the game’s Year 1 pass. Additionally, Capcom has also released the Fighter Pass that goes hand-in-hand with the new fighter, with its unlocks including Ed-themed cosmetics and more Fighter Coins. Additionally, Capcom’s classic 1991 sci-fi beat ’em up Classic Commando is also now playable in the Battle Hub’s Game Center.
After Ed’s arrival, Street Fighter 6 will add one more DLC fighter as part of its Year 1 pass, with Akuma set to arrive sometime this Spring.
Street Fighter 6 is available on PS5, Xbox Series X/S, PS4, and PC. Read our review of the game through here.
