Well-Read is a new achievement in Stardew Valley that only nerdy players can unlock; here’s how to achieve this milestone as quickly as possible.
In Stardew Valley 1.6, “Well-Read” is a new achievement obtained for collecting and using all books. However, these “books” are different from Lost Books, which players used to find in artifact spots. These are entirely new items that grant specific powers or skills to the reader. When the player collects all nineteen of them, they also unlock the Well-Read achievement. To give you an idea of the difficulty level, only 0.2% of Steam players at the time of writing have achieved this milestone. With this in mind, here’s a comprehensive guide to obtaining the Well-Read achievement as quickly as possible.
Stardew Valley: How to Get the Danger in the Deep Achievement
The Danger in the Deep is a new secret achievement in Stardew Valley 1.6 that involves resting the Mines and beating its monsters all over again.
How to Get the Well-Read Achievement
To unlock the Well-Read achievement in Stardew Valley, you’ll need to read every Power Book. In the v1.6 update, there are 19 Power Books available, each granting permanent buffs or unique abilities to the readers. You’ll achieve the Well-Read achievement once you find or purchase all these books and use them on your character.
Note that simply obtaining Power Books is not sufficient to unlock the achievement. You must indeed read them by pressing the interact button while holding the book in hand, similar to consuming edibles.
Theprimary source for obtaining Power Books is the Bookseller, who appears twice per season. He offers a rotating inventory of new titles. You can find the Bookseller behind JojaMart at the small opening on top of the hill.
Power Books differ from
Skill Books
and Lost Books. While other books can be used multiple times, Power Books provide one-time, permanent buffs that do not stack.
