- Penny’s Disliked and Hated Gifts
Building relationships with the townsfolk in Stardew Valley is an essential aspect of the game’s immersive gameplay. Among the residents of Pelican Town is a kind-hearted and book-loving villager named Penny. She is an NPC that captures the hearts of many players, to the point that some are willing to marry her.
Stardew Valley: 8 Best Non-Romanceable Characters
Though these Stardew Valley characters can’t be romanced, they still remain some of the best in ConcernedApe’s indie title.
Whether players aim to deepen their friendship with Penny or romance her and win her affection, the perfect gifts will make all the difference. As with other NPCs in Stardew Valley, players can give Penny up to two gifts per week, and one more on her birthday, which takes place on Fall 2.
Updated on April 17, 2024, by Ashely Claudino: Gamers can talk to the various villagers in Pelican Town to build a friendship. However, this only increases their relationship with the player slightly. Players who want to bond faster can do so by giving villagers presents. Loved and liked gifts will work particularly fast. This guide has been updated and now includes tables to make it easier for players to navigate through it.
Penny’s Loved Gifts
The best way to get more hearts with a villager in Stardew Valley is to get them items they love. Penny enjoys all universal loves (except Rabbit’s Foot) as well as the following items:
