HoYoverse revealed that various HoYoLab tools and features have been updated for Honkai: Star Rail Version 1.6, allowing players to easily track their in-game progress for various limited-time events. These tools may prove useful to those wanting to level up new Honkai: Star Rail characters such as Ruan Mei and Dr. Ratio as well.

Honkai: Star Rail Version 1.6 brings players back to the Herta Space Station to meet Ruan Mei, one of the update’s new playable 5-star characters. She requires the assistance of the Trailblazer, since a strange anomaly is reeking havoc in the Seclusion Zone. Players may explore the Seclusion Zone and face off against the anomaly, and Version 1.6 offers a variety of optional, limited-time events as well. One of these events includes Critter Pick, which gives players the opportunity to nurture strange lifeforms and obtain valuable rewards. Version 1.6 will bring additional events in the second phase of the update, including an event that lets players obtain Dr. Ratio for free.

Honkai: Star Rail Leak Teases Free Four-Star Character in Version 2.0

A recent leak is teasing that Honkai: Star Rail players will be receiving a free four-star character during the Version 2.0 update.

A new HoYoLab post by HoYoverse details updated tools and features for Honkai: Star Rail Version 1.6, which was released on December 27. Firstly, new map information for the Seclusion Zone has been added to the Honkai: Star Rail Interactive Map tool. Those exploring the Seclusion Zone may use the Interactive Map on a secondary device to keep track of important landmarks, objectives, and other content without needing to pause the game. The Battle Records tool has also been updated with data pertaining to Honkai: Star Rail Version 1.6’s new events, such as Critter Pick and Virtual Scentventure. Battle Records lets players track Trailblazer Power recovery status, treasures opened, data and progression for the latest in-game events, and much more from a convenient widget.

  • HoYoLab’s Interactive Map adds new information about the Seclusion Zone
  • Battle Records is now compatible with “Critter Pick” and “Virtual Scentventure” events
  • Leveling Calculator now supports Ruan Mei, Dr. Ratio, and Xueyi
  • New character entries in HoYoWiki and Lineup Assistant
  • Check-in grants an additional 100 Stellar Jades in Version 1.6

Going forward, Honkai: Star Rail players may use the Leveling Calculator to track required ascension and level-up materials for Version 1.6’s Ruan Mei, Dr. Ratio, and Xueyi. HoYoverse’s Lineup Assistant tool and HoYoWiki were updated with entries for the new characters as well. Lineup Assistant is useful for determining which team comps are optimal for clearing Honkai: Star Rail’s end-game activities like Memory of Chaos. The new character entries in HoYoWiki provide additional information about Ruan Mei and the other Version 1.6 characters, similarly to what’s shown in the character menu within Honkai: Star Rail.

HoYoverse also reminds the Honkai: Star Rail community that the check-in feature is available now for Version 1.6. Checking in for three consecutive days grants an additional 100 Stellar Jades, which can be used to summon from Event Warps. Players may track the Stellar Jades they have earned each month by using the Trailblaze Monthly Calculator.

More HoYoLab tools and feature updates will likely be introduced in Honkai: Star Rail Version 2.0, which adds an entirely new world known as Penacony. Leaks suggest that a free 4-star character will make their debut in the major update as well.
