A new Honkai: Star Rail leak has surfaced online, revealing that Firefly and Robin will appear in version 2.2. Waiting for the arrival of future versions, Honkai: Star Rail players are utilizing the Ripples in Reflection limited-time character banner to expand their team and spending their hard-earned Star Passes to unlock Light Cones that improve the attributes of units. These event warps are running simultaneously, offering players rerun and debut banners of their favorite characters, such as Black Swan and Dan Heng Imbibitor Lunae.
So far, information about Honkai: Star Rail‘s next version has been sparse. However, recent leaks have revealed that at least two characters will debut along with their signature weapons. Some of these characters are reportedly Gallagher and Aventurine, Penacony-based units with their distinctive kits. Also, in celebration of its first anniversary, Honkai: Star Rail will give out lucrative rewards, one of which could allegedly be a free gacha banner.

Honkai: Star Rail 2.2 Leak Reveals Two New Characters
As per a leak from hxg_diluc, a credible leaker within the community, Honkai: Star Rail update 2.2 will bring Firefly and Robin to the playable cast. It comes as no surprise, considering the Penecony-based characters were previously featured in a leak that suggested the same release window. One thing to note is that hxg_diluc took this information from BOWLeaks, meaning it may turn out to be incorrect in the end.
For those who missed out, Honkai: Star Rail has given players their first look at Robin, confirming that the character has white hair and green eyes. Firefly, on the other hand, showed up in the official artwork and captured the attention of fans with her elegant design. She wears a long-sleeve dress and a dark blue hairband on her white hair.
Honkai: Star Rail‘s Robin is rumored to be a Harmony character who gives ATK bonuses to her teammates for several turns. Upon using ultimate, she decreases her own aggro and goes into a “disabled” state. Moreover, Robin has a useful passive that provides allies with SPD and CRIT damage boost. Nothing is known about the character’s rarity, but recent leaks hinted at her being a five-star like many other Penacony units.
Known as a native of Penacony, Firefly is an NPC who escorts Honkai: Star Rail‘s Astral Express throughout a story mission. As of writing, fans barely know anything about the upcoming unit despite her presence in the game’s story. She is part of an organization, Stellaron Hunters, that also includes Sam and Blade. If the leak is accurate, Firefly will appear in Penacony in version 2.2, which is expected to be available in May 2024.
