“South Park” is funny because it doesn’t hold back, and it doesn’t have an issue with laughing at sacred cows — even things that the liberal media holds dear.
In the latest “South Park” episode, they took on the Ozempic craze and what one might do if they didn’t have a lot of money to shell out for obesity drugs.
The long running provocative animated comedy series begins with Eric Cartman in his doctor’s office, trying to get Ozempic in order to lose weight.
But he can’t afford the drug and his insurance won’t cover it. In response, his doctor tells him, “I’m going to write you a prescription for Lizzo. She’s a really good singer who talks about body positivity, and just being happy with the way you look. I want you to listen to Lizzo five times a day, and watch her videos just before bedtime. I’m afraid you’ll have to be on Lizzo for the rest of your life.”
Cartman groused that rich people get Ozempic and poor people get “body positivity.”
But they weren’t done there. They had another part of the show where they had the mothers talking about taking the drug. But what was funny was Lizzo herself filmed her reaction to that part of the show, as our friends at Twitchy reported.

Lizzo’s mouth drops open, and she claps her hand over her mouth when Sharon confesses she’s on “Lizzo.” Then you see the ads for the product, with an announcer saying that it “makes you feel good about your weight.”
“In case studies, 70% of patients on Lizzo no longer cared how much they weighed,” he adds.
“Lizzo helps you eat everything you want, and keep physical activity to a minimum….stop listening to Lizzo if you experience suicidal thoughts. Serious side effects may include pancreatitis, hypothermia, and literally sh-ting out of your ears.”
Sharon then says, “I’ve lowered my standards and my expectations!”
“That’s crazy!” Lizzo declares.
Now, what made it extra funny was she thought it showed that she was making her point.
“I really showed the world how to love yourself and not give a f*** to the point where these men in Colorado know who the f*** I am and put it in their cartoon that’s been around for 25 years,’ she said.
“I showed you all how to not give a f*** and I’m going to keep on showing you how to not give a f***,” Lizzo responded.
Um, Lizzo? They were showing how silly you were. Or was that not obvious? But I guess that’s a form of recognition.
And can we talk about how she was accused of body-shaming harassment by people who worked for her?

As a final example to show how silly Lizzo was, “South Park” explained that Sharon developed complications. She got “dia-bear-ties.”
The doctor said that was a “mild form of diabetes that occurs mostly in the ears. But that’s really good news, because now I can write you a prescription for Ozempic!”
