Diddy has been accused of a series of sex trafficking and extortion crimes, with more than 120 victims having come forward.
Now a video has resurfaced of Diddy, 54, and Justin, now 30, appearing on Jimmy Kimmel Live! together when the singer was just 16 years old.
During the interview, the duo reflected on the friendship they had at the time, but one comment caught the attention of fans.
When Jimmy asked how they became friends, Diddy replied: 'I think we became friends in a strange way. It's like Rob & Big', a reference to skateboarder Rob Dyrdek and his bodyguard Christopher 'Big Black' Boykin.

He added: 'He is, to many of us, like a little brother. He's not afraid to call and ask for advice. He is someone who knows the industry, the music industry is a strong family.
“He's someone we definitely embrace and want to protect because he's actually a really nice person in addition to his talents.
'He's one of the best kids you could ever meet.'
Jimmy then asked Justin, “You know, Diddy bought his son a Bentley, maybe he could buy you one too while you're at it.”

Jimmy said, 'When is this going to happen? That Lamborghini. We talked about this last time.
In comments that haven't aged well, Diddy explained: “The Lamborghini for a day or two and he had access to the house.
'And he knows better than to talk about the things he does with his older brother, Puff, on national television. Not everything is for everyone.
Justin is said to be “disgusted” by the allegations against Diddy, who mentored him early in his music career.

The new dad has been “advised to stay as far away from anything and everything related to Diddy as possible,” a source close to Justin told Us Weekly.
A second source said Justin “is in a difficult place mentally right now” as he struggles to come to terms with the allegations against Diddy.
“He has a big history with Diddy and the allegations against him have been difficult to process.”
Sources close to Justin exclusively told the Daily Mail that he “should never have been allowed to party with Diddy or anyone else when he was a teenager.”

A source revealed to DailyMail.com that Hailey – who welcomed her son Jack Blues Bieber in August – shared the post because she feels like a 'keeper' of her husband.
'Hailey believes she is Justin's keeper and this was her way of showing the world how she feels about the whole situation [with Diddy] – not Justin,' the source clarified.
The source noted that Rhode's beauty founder photo choice was extremely revealing, as they continued, “Out of the hundreds of photos of Justin showing his middle finger, she had to choose one from 2017 that was taken before he got back together with [his ex Selena Gomez] again.'
However, the source claimed that the model might be wise to let her husband speak for himself whenever he feels ready to do so, adding: 'Hailey needs to let Justin act for himself rather than using an image of him to convey what she feels she should be saying.
“But Justin really doesn't have a voice right now and that's sad.”
It comes after sources previously told DailyMail.com that Justin has, in fact, struggled with revelations made about Diddy amid the 54-year-old's arrest on sex trafficking charges.
The source stated that the singer feels like he has no one to talk to and is 'navigating these waters alone'.
“Justin feels like there’s no one he can talk to who understands, and to be honest, he doesn’t even fully understand,” the source explained. 'He was a child.'

In 2009, Combs stopped hosting his famous 'White Parties' for A-list friends and allegedly escalated his more sordid and notorious 'Freak-Offs', in which many of the crimes listed in the New York indictment are alleged to have occurred.
Diddy was accused of years of coercion and abuse as he used blackmail and violence to control his victims.
He was also accused of inducing female victims and male sex workers into drugged, sometimes days-long sexual performances known as 'Freak Offs'.
In November 2009, 15-year-old Bieber spent an infamous 48-hour period with Diddy, apparently unsupervised, at the rapper's home.
In a video made around this time and shared on YouTube by Bieber, Diddy, then 40, turns to the camera and says: 'He's spending 48 hours with Diddy, where we're hanging out. [sic] and what we are doing we cannot disclose.
“But it’s definitely a 15-year-old’s dream. We're going to go crazy.
Fears have been rising about Bieber's mental health following Diddy's arrest.
In 2009, Combs stopped hosting his famous “White Parties” for A-list friends and allegedly escalated his more sordid and notorious “Freak-Offs,” in which many of the crimes listed in the New York indictment allegedly occurred.
Combs pleaded not guilty to the charges against him and was denied bail, despite his legal team's request that he be released on $50 million and kept electronically monitored.
