Super Smash Bros. Ultimate events have been on reruns for a significant period of time now, but believe it or not, the game is seeing a slight revitalization for its fifth anniversary. In a new event, players will be able to earn 5x EXP and SP after fights. Five additional Snack Ls are being given out as well.
The Smash Bros. Ultimate fifth anniversary event begins tomorrow, December 7 (December 8 in Europe). It will last for five days in total.
The news actually doesn’t stop there. Nintendo has also announced that new spirits are coming to the game (we’ll need to wait and see which ones are actually planned) along with amiibo tag tourneys early next year in which you’ll be able to take on the figures you’ve raised. This will start in January 2024.
Nintendo had also just announced that the Sora amiibo will hit store shelves in February. You can read more about that here.
Super Smash Bros. Ultimate originally launched for Switch on December 7, 2018.
