Publisher Shiravune has once again forced a name change for another one of their titles, this time with Holy Slave Academy being turned into Holy Maid Academy.
Here are screenshots of the game’s Steam page in comparison to the game’s actual title as listed on Visual Novel Database:
The Steam version of the game is a censored all-ages release, and some were convinced that the name change was made to comply with Steam’s absurd restrictions on eroge and games with an anime aesthetic. However, this might not be the case:
Shiravune has done this on a previous occasion with Criminal Border being renamed to Liminal Border.
