“I Know What You Did Last Summer” sequel to be released soon
The sequel to the horror film I Know What You Did Last Summer has been announced to be released in 2023. It has been confirmed that Freddie Prinze Jr. will reprise his role as Ray Bronson in the new film after 27 years. Negotiations with Jennifer Love Hewitt are still ongoing.

First images of new movie version of 'Cliffhanger'
The 1993 film Cliffhanger starring Sylvester Stallone is getting a remake. The first photo shows Lily James in the title role. Also in the cast are Pierce Brosnan and Nelle Tiger Free. The film’s official synopsis reads: “In this reboot of the classic action film Cliffhanger, veteran mountaineer Ray Cooper (Pierce Brosnan) and his daughter Sydney climb the Dolomites Running a mountain cabin while on a weekend trip with the son of a billionaire, they are targeted by kidnappers.
Filming is still in progress. It's unclear when the film will be released in theaters.

New trailer for “Skull Crew”
The new Star Wars series Skeleton Crew will be released on Disney+ on December 3. In the new trailer, Jude Law travels across the galaxy to help a group of children return to their families. The show is produced by Jon Watts and takes place around the same time as The Mandalorian and The Book of Boba Fett.

The Lord of the Rings: The War of the Rohirrim soundtrack released
British folk-pop artist Paris Paloma has recorded an original song for the upcoming animated film The Lord of the Rings: The War of the Rohirrim. The song was written by Phoebe Grittings, who co-wrote the script with Artie Papagio, Jeffrey Addis and Will Matthews. The film will be released in Swiss cinemas from December 12th.

'Outer Banks' renewed for fifth season
Netflix's hit series “Outer Banks” has been renewed for a fifth and final season. This was announced shortly before the release of Season 4 Part 2 on November 7.

The third film in the Orphan horror series has officially been greenlit. Isabelle Foreman returns to her iconic role as Esther, and Orphan author David Kogicher and director William Brent Bell are also producing the sequel. Plot details are still being kept under wraps.

Game of Thrones movie in production
Five years after the Game of Thrones series finale, a movie set in this universe is said to be in the works. Industry magazine The Hollywood Reporter reports that the project is still in its infancy and has yet to hire a director and actors. It is unclear whether author George R.R. Martin was involved.
